Description
I decided to use this nice slab of some type of stone for a project. The pattern of the stone reminded me a bit of the sea so hence this theme.
I covered the back and part of the front with a thin sheet of clay and then I started adding the seaweed on which I could add the rest. I used beads, pearls, bead caps and real shells which I had painted with a brass coating and treated with a patina.
Lastly I added 2 loops (with thick metal wire inside for sturdiness) at the back so it could be hanged after the last baking session.

I love these colors! Interesting looking stone too; I agree, it does remind of the ocean. Good choices.
